Welcome to BL Debating and Ethics Society! 

There are always multiple perspectives that can be taken when approaching controversial topics, for example, positions driven by logic versus those driven by emotions.

Whether you are an experienced debater or this is your first time, we welcome you to join our friendly debates to provoke your thoughts around anything and everything that's controversial in medicine. We also bring yummy homemade baked goods to our events, so please come along!

As a society, we aim to:

• Hold monthly debates on topics related to current affairs in the news e.g. artificial intelligence in medicine, is this a welcome change?
