Greetings all,
I am writing this week in the midst of what is an exciting SHAG Week! It certainly has started with a Bang after the quiz and Friends of MSF film screening, but with Dr Jensen and Fantasies and Fetishes night to come, its going to be a cracking week!
Quote of the week: “Smithy have you been drinking!?!”, enquired an Unnamed fresher
“Where’d you get that idea?” whilst wearing a diaper, sitting in a shopping trolley in an unspecified Dawson kitchen. –Michael “Smithy” Smith

BL Boat Club Plum Pudding Races - 16th December
Come and see the last Wednesday afternoon of the term off in style! The Boat Club will be holding a day of fun races with plenty of mince pies and prizes to be had by all. Absolutely NO ROWING EXPERIENCE is required as all the positions in the boats will be allocated at random. Races will be short and sweet, so don't worry about fitness etc. There will be mulled wine (certainly) and a BBQ (weather permitting) to keep you all nice and warm after the races. After the racing is over we will head over to the Union for tables. All of this will take place at the University of London boat house in lovely Chiswick (map: http://tinyurl.com/yd5zhw6) on 16th December at 1.30 pm (latecomers welcome if you're not too late). If you are interested please give your name and e-mail address to the Captain (Dave

BL Squash
Every year, Canary Wharf plays host to the ISS Squash Classics Tournament and this year is no exception. The worlds best players will be with us in London from 22nd - 26th of March 2010 and we are able to offer tickets at an amazing price.
The BL Squash Club will be looking to head to Canary Wharf on Tuesday 23rd March. Tickets are £10 for subs paying members, and £12.50 if not.
This is a great opportunity to potentially see a world champion competing in his or her sport, and for just £10.
If you're interested, please email ha08336@qmul.ac.uk or call Jo on 07738 529347. Please do so before December 6th as I will be ordering the tickets then.
Thanks!
