The Advice and Counselling Service is working with Compass Wellbeing (the local NHS psychology service) to run a course of 4 workshops to boost students’ self-esteem.
The course is for students who would like to address self-criticism and a lack of confidence. Over the 4 weeks, you will learn about what causes your self-esteem to be low and what we can do to challenge patterns of thinking and behaviour, to feel better about ourselves. Each workshop will last last 1 and a half hours each week
Dates:
· Weds 25 November 3.30-5pm
· Weds 2 December 3.30-5pm
· Weds 9 December 3.30-5pm
· Weds 16 December 3.30-5pm
This course is free, but to be eligible to book a place you will need to be registered with the Student Health Service or with a GP in the borough of Tower Hamlets (a postcode which begins with E1, E2, E3 or E14). You must be able to attend the course from start to finish.
