What is RAG?

RAG is QMSU’s fundraising charity; it stands for Raise and Give. Through RAG you can get crucial work experience in the fields of marketing, event organising and finance managing. You can also have lots of the fun and meet some really great people, adding to your university experience. And what's more, you're doing something great for your community. All we ask for is your time. Whether it is on a regular basis, or whenever it suits you.

What does RAG raise money for?

Last year RAG raised money for the following charities:

• Macmillan Cancer Support
• Barnardos
• 'UKTFRP' UK Talibe Fund Raising and Research Project

How can you help?

Last years events included a masquerade ball and casino night as well as the infamous RAG WEEK that took place in February.  We have also had tube raids, RAG raids and cake sales.

We need people to help! You will need to have great vocal skills and will either be walking around with a bucket in some elaborate costume, or selling cakes and other items from a stall in library square.

There are so many ways that you can help RAG this year, sometimes barely having to leave your seat.
