Hello, my name is Maham Masood and I’m a second-year international BSc business management student.
The rights of every individual are something I care deeply about especially when it comes to women. Considering myself as a feminist who believes in gender equality, I believe that often times, our rights as women are neglected or overshadowed; therefore, I wish to uphold this position to ensure the voices of my fellow females are justly heard and acted upon. Through this position, I aim to empower and inspire by introducing more female orientated events such as career advise events by females in the position of power and running campaigns to empower females on our campus. I believe in inclusivity; therefore, I think I will be ideal for the role of women’s representative.
