Commercial Services Officer
The Commercial Services Officer is elected by and represents the interests of student staff. They convene the Commercial Services Committee and work closely with staff to improve the Students’ Union’s commercial services. In addition, the Commercial Services Officer also represents the interests of all the member that use the Students’ Union’s bars, shops, and other commercial outlets.
This is a cross-campus position. You must be a member of student staff to run for this position.

The Student Council sets the political direction for the Students’ Union when policies are debated and voted on. As the Chair of Student Council, you’ll have the opportunity to moderate meetings to ensure they match with our policies, and collaborate with staff on operations. Meetings include Student Council, the Annual Members Meeting and the Company Law General Meetings.

The Student Trustees make up 6 of the 18 members of the Board of Trustees, who are responsible for the management, oversight, and administration of the Students’ Union. Treasurer (BLSA)
The Treasurer will have the opportunity to maintain and assist in everything finance for the BLSA. This means you’ll manage the Association Fund, funding applications, and assisting the VPs in the funding for flagship events. You’ll also be able to manage external stakeholders to find appropriate sponsorship where appropriate.
This is a non-representative position and does not sit on the Student Council.
