Are you a final-year dissertation student unable to do the project you would like because the mathematics is too involved? You now have the option (subject to tutor approval) of teaming up with a finalist in mathematics in the School of Mathematical Sciences.
You would be supervised together, and you would master the theory together, but write up separate dissertations. You would submit your dissertation to a co-supervisor in the School of Mathematical Sciences, who could also provide some supervision if required.

The advert should include a very brief description of the project, the type of mathematics that will be required, a rough timetable for submission and contact details.
