Barts and The London Day, which will be taking place on the 21st of March, as an exciting celebration of our incredibly rich history, and our very special community. Every student who is proud of being at Barts and The London should be there! There are many ways for everyone to get involved, and staff and alumni will also be present.
While Whitechapel will be the base for most of the events, we will be looking to host activities across our campuses (TBC):
Charterhouse Square: In the morning, join for breakfast at the Shield, provided by Residences for students living at Dawson Hall and Floyer House. In the evening, we will be looking to host an Inter-Institute Student-Staff Quiz at the Shield, where the Barts Cancer, Blizard, Dentistry, IHSE (Health Sciences Education), William Harvey and Wolfson will compete to show who is best!
West Smithfield: In the morning, while the Pathology Museum unfortunately cannot be open, the St Bartholomew’s Hospital Museum will welcome any visitors until 4pm. In the evening, the Great Hall will be the venue for the illustrious Association Dinner, our flagship celebration of the Barts and The London student body.
Gozo: In the morning, join for a burial of a time capsule for our cohort to mark the first year of Barts and The London Malta, which will be live-streamed to the UK. In the evening, a parallel Association Dinner will be taking place in Gozo, Malta.
