The Choir of QMUL and Barts & The London Music Societies, QMUL Chamber Ensemble, QMUL Orchestra and East London Music Group combine forces to bring to life a series of tales told through music. With excerpts form Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, Holst's famous Jupiter from The Planets Suite, Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, Wagner's Siegfried Idyll and the public premiere of Robin Haigh's 1936: An East London Uprising, inspired by the Battle of Cable Street.
