Rugby (Men)

Any student who is at Queen Mary is able to join the club. We try and offer as many way to be involved with the club as possible:

We offer opportunities to play in 3 teams: 1st XV, for experience and competitive players looking for a challenge, 2nd XV, for new players or those looking to develop their skills, the 3rd team which allow new players to start playing the game in a safe environment.

Off the pitch we offer opportunities for members to gain coaching qualifications, become embedded in local schools and clubs and work towards being paid coaches.   • A personalised gym programme tailored to your own fitness goals;
  • A full demonstration of exercise and techniques, and guidance on resistance machines;
  • Information and advice on nutrition;
  • A 60 minute review session every 6-8 weeks to re-evaluate and re-customise a new programme to avoid plateaus.
