QMSU Services Limited is the wholly-owned subsidiary of the charity (QMSU –the Students’ Union). Carrying on the business as a commercial social purpose company, the services are provided principally for students, staff, and guests of the University.

Qmotion is the Students’ Union run Sport & Fitness Centre, located on the Mile End campus, and provides students, staff and the wider community with diverse and inclusive fitness facilities and services to enable an active lifestyle.

We are seeking an experienced fitness coach to support the successful operations of the Sport & Fitness Centre and to assist the QMSU Sport performance programme through the provision of strength and conditioning services.

You will be responsible for providing guidance and assistance to users of the fitness areas, ensuring all areas of the facility are clean and free from hazards, and improving member experience through the proactive promotion and delivery of our fitness services including inductions, group exercise classes and events.

The facilities are open seven days per week, and this role will incorporate the working of unsociable hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

The successful applicant will be expected to support the development of our performance programme through the delivery of strength and conditioning services for our student athletes with the aim of improving performance. To excel in this role, it is essential that you have experience delivering strength & conditioning services to teams or individual athletes.  

The post is a full-time and permanent. Starting salary will be between £22,781- £27,513 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan and free use of the Sport and Fitness Centre.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
