We’re looking for a current Queen Mary student to join our team as our Student Voice Intern. This is a new role that has been created to help the Students’ Union to improve our support for Distance Learner Course Reps and explore the way we use online tools to collect feedback, listen to students and engage with our reps. It’s an exciting opportunity to help us to make the most of new online tools and meet the needs of future students. The job is varied and will involve some student-facing tasks, desk-based research and administrative tasks. The role is part-time (approx. 8 hours per week) and is designed to fit around your academic commitments.

Please read through the job description below carefully to ensure you meet the requirements before applying.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.

To apply please send your completed application form to su-representation@qmul.ac.uk with the subject line “Student Voice Intern” before the deadline of 5th October. Interviews will take place on 12th October, and the successful candidate is expected to start the role w/c 31st October.

If you have any questions about the role, please contact Jonny Otter, Education Coordination (j.otter@qmul.ac.uk).

Queen Mary Students' Union is proud to be an Equal Opportunities employer and we are committed to equality of opportunity for all applicants regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability status, class or any other dimension of diversity. Reasonable adjustments will be made at each stage of the recruitment process for any candidate with a disability. We particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic candidates as this group is currently under-represented within the Union.
