Queen Mary Students’ Union exists to work together with our students to improve students’ lives. We enable students to volunteer in the community via 3 main streams- one-off volunteering opportunities, placements with partner charities and through our student-led volunteering groups who run projects out in the local community. You will lead in all aspects of running and increasing the profile of the volunteering service. You will also oversee our RAG (Raise and Give) activity, supporting student-led groups and elected officers to fundraise for charity.

The post is a full-time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment. Starting salary will be £29,642 per annum inclusive of London Allowance and raises one point annually as set out in the QM Pay and Grading Structure. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, plus university closure days, free gym membership, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

At Queen Mary Students’ Union you will get access to excellent training opportunities and will work with people that are excited to share their knowledge and help you to learn new skills.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
