QMSU represents and supports over 15,000 students who make up the diverse and vibrant student body at Queen Mary, University of London. Our commercial operations, not only provide valuable experiences and services for members, they also create profits, which are reinvested into all aspects of the students union, creating services, opportunities and development for our members.
We are now seeking to recruit a food service assistant to support the delivery of high quality of food and service in Infusion through the implementation of approved operational plans striving to maintain a culture of excellence in all areas of operation.
This is an exciting and challenging position for an experienced and dedicated individual whose key role will be to ensure that the outlet is managed both efficiently and effectively on a day to day basis. This will require a pro-active, dynamic and hands on approach.
The successful candidate will have confidence, ambition and above all else a real passion for customer service and a proven track record in a busy retail/grocery operation.
The post is a part time permanent post (term time only, 25 hours a week). Starting salary will be in the range £16781 - £18710 per annum pro rata inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include pro rata 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme, interest-free season ticket loan and membership of the Health and Fitness Centre.
Candidate must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the immigration, Asylum and National Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
