This Second September Societies Conference is your abosolute FINAL CHANCE to secure a Welcome Fair stall and £50 start-up grant. If you haven't been able to attend any other training sessions, you MUST be signed up for this one before Welcome Week.
Please note, this training session is aimed at new societies affiliated in round 1, and societies who cannot attend the training on the 11th and 12th September e.g. international students who are out of the country. If you can make the first Societes September Conference, please make sure you do.
The dates of are as follows:
New Principal Officers: Monday 25th September, 5.15pm-8pm training, Bancroft 113, Mile End Campus. Registration will take place between 5pm and 5.15pm
Returning Principal Officers: Thursday 28th September, 5.15pm-8pm, Bancroft 113, Mile End Campus. Registration will take place between 5pm and 5.15pm.
To be clear, Principal Officers include ONLY Presidents, Treasurers, Vice Presidents and Secretaries. If you have served in one of these four roles before, please attend the Returning Principal Officers session. If you are a brand new Principal Officer or have only served as a committee member in the past (e.g. events officer, publicity officer, advisor) please attend the New Principal Officers session. The sessions will be tailored accordingly to make sure you are not learning information that you already know.
Please send a total of Two Principal Officers to the sessions. One Principal Officer might need to attend one session and one might need to attend the other, or both might need to attend the same one. If you would like to send a committee member in place of a Principal Officer, please email us to let us know why.
