Your feedback is very important to us, and some of the campaigns we’ve made happen as a result of what you’ve said in the past include:
- Extending Mile End Library hours over the examination period to help you study
- 3 mental health inspired art installations designed by students to be in place by 2017
- More study spaces implemented across campus that stay open until late
- A ‘Be Kind To Your Mind’ campaign about mental well-being to help you with stress relief
- A pop-up exhibition celebrating sporting success, recognising students’ great achievements
- A working group set-up with the University to improve the quality of course feedback
Improving our services
Feedback has also meant we can improve our services to you, such as providing:
- 70 alcohol-free activities: free workshops ranging from graffiti art and biscuit-decorating to learning Mandarin
- Our first ever Freshers’ Ball, which over 1,000 of you attended
- More employability opportunities including 4 Union internships
- 18 training sessions with the QM Skills Award and individual advice sessions for students applying to QMSU roles
- A Student Media Internships Fair to get students’ foot in the door in the competive media industry
- A microwave in the Students’ Union Hub so you can heat up lunches from home
