Three Societies Bring 'Summer of Love' to QMSU

Three Queen Mary societies have joined together to raise money for charity at this years' end of term party!

Three Queen Mary societies have joined together to bring the ‘Summer of Love’ to QMSU! This years’ psychedelic end of term party will take place on April 1st, all in aid of charity.

As part of QMSU’s Adopt A Charity Scheme, the Young Greens, Disco Society and Underground Music Society are taking over Drapers to raise money for two fantastic causes: the UK's leading dementia support charity, Alzheimer’s Society, and Redthread, a youth work organisation supporting young people in London.

Summer of Love line-up

  • 9 to 11 pm in the main bar: The Young Greens will be getting the crowd warmed up with the best of ‘90s and ‘00s tunes.
  • From 11 pm in the main bar: Underground Music Society take over with the best of London's vibrant underground music scene.
  • In the Lounge from 11pm: Disco Society will be emulating their hugely successful Disco 4 Change nights with disco, funk, soul (basically, anything with a groove).

With all three societies already having hosted hugely successful Drapers nights, it's bound to be a great evening for music lovers!

The dress code is psychedelia, so bring out the flares and tie dye, and get groovy for a good cause. Tickets available now here.
