We want you to be a Hall Rep!

Congratulations on getting into Queen Mary University of London!  At the Students’ Union we are extremely excited about welcoming you to campus in September.

Living in Halls of Residence is a big part of many students experience and we are trying to make it even better.  The Students’ Union runs a Halls Representative Scheme to give first year students the chance to make a real difference.

We want you to be a Hall Representative!

This is an amazing opportunity only available to first year students.  If you become a Hall Rep you will have the opportunity to represent your halls of residence and be the voice of your student community. You will also get the chance to work with residences and the Union to organise various initiatives and events throughout the year to create a great student experience for all student living in Halls!

Why would you want to be a Halls Representative?

You will get to meet lots of new students from across the University, develop new skills, play an active role in your Students’ Union and of course have lots of fun organising events and activities.

What skills do I need to be a Halls Representative?

There is no previous experience required; we are just looking for people with good communication skills who are responsible and committed. You will need to be available for the 14th September to move into Halls.

How do I become a Halls Representative?

To apply to become a Halls Rep simply fill in the following before 9am Thursday 7th September.

  1. Fill out the application form by clicking here.
  2. Email a recent photograph to m.spink@qmul.ac.uk.
