About

Here at Qmotion Sport and Fitness Centre, we aim to provide as much value as possible for your gym membership. As such we have launched ‘Qmotion Workshop Series’ as a means to help educate our members and equip them with the necessary tools to enhance their training and exercise. We aim to offer a variety of workshops and seminars – led by our team of senior fitness instructors – for a range of different fitness goals and abilities.

Our workshops are suitable for everyone and all abilities – we aim to cater the content to individual needs as much as possible. They are completely free to attend for all Qmotion members.

Workshops


Squat Workshop

This theory and practical workshop will help you learn how to effectively warm up for and perform squatting movements properly. You will learn about the muscles involved in squatting and how to effectively and safely perform weighted variations.


Deadlift Workshop

This theory and practical workshop will help you learn how to effectively warm up for and perform deadlifts properly. You will learn about the muscles involved in deadlifting and how to effectively and safely perform them.


Core Workshop

This theory and practical workshop equips attendees with a basic knowledge on the musculature surrounding the core muscles. There will be specific exercises variations and progressions that will be taught and the tutor will help you find out which variations are suited for each individual level. You will also learn how to implement core exercises into your routine.


Weight Loss Seminar

This is a classroom based presentation that covers the foundations of exercising and eating for the goal of weight loss. The tutor will also cover the topics of sustaining long term weight management and lifestyle factors that affect fat loss. There will be an opportunity at the end for Q and A with the tutor.


Hypertrophy Seminar

This is a classroom based presentation that covers the essentials of training and nutrition for effective muscle building. The tutor will also cover the topics of lifestyle factors that affect muscle building along with important elements that sustain long term progress.


Olympic Weightlifting: Snatch and Clean & Jerk

This is a practical workshop to give individuals a taster of the techniques of the Olympic weightlifting movements. It is not compulsory but it is desirable if individuals get squat and deadlift healthily.
