Find out more about Course Reps right here!

Each year of each course has at least one Course Rep. Course Reps are the key link between students and staff in their school.

They seek out students' views and represent them at Staff Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) meetings, work in partnership with staff to improve their course and resolve any course-related issues as they arise throughout the year. Course Reps work closely with the Students' Union to campaign for change and make things better for students.

Course Rep Training

We know that effective representatives are trained not born, so the Students' Union provides full training and support for all Course Reps.

For further information on the Course Rep training available go to the Course Rep Training page.

Education Awards

Course Reps learn and develop valuable skills that help to improve their employability. All Course Reps who are eligible for the Course Rep Contribution Award will be invited to the Education Awards ceremony at the end of the year where they receive a certificate to recognise their contribution. This will be on a first come first serve basis.

This year's Education Awards ceremony takes place on Monday 23rd March 2020.
