UCU (University and College Union) are undertaking strike action between November 25th and December 4th. This means that members of Queen Mary staff in UCU will be striking between those dates. A strike is when employees stop working until their employers meet certain demands. The staff are striking over pensions and fair pay. You can read more about why UCU have gone on strike here.
The Students' Union is supporting UCU and this strike action.

Teach Out Schedule & Events
During the strike action a series of Teach Out events are being held every day from 10am-12pm and 12pm-2pm. Staff, students and members of the local community have worked together to put together the programme, all of which is taking place in the Chaplaincy on the Mile End campus. In addition to the above events there is also a Student Teach Out on Thursday 28th November at 12pm in the Law School Lobby. Find out more from staff why they're striking, what this means for you, and how you can support your lecturers. There will be FREE food, poster making and music.
