Be the National Voice Black, Mature or Part-time Students

Be the Union’s delegate to the NUS Black Students' Conference or Mature & Part Time Students' Conference

 

The Union is looking for a black student and a mature or part-time student to represent Queen Mary at their respective NUS Conferences. The conference is students’ opportunity to set NUS’s agenda for the year ahead by debating and voting on suggested actions submitted by students’ unions and voting in important elections.

Attendance is free and the Union will cover travel and meal expenses where food is not provided.

*Where and when are the conferences?

                *NUS BLACK STUDENTS CONFERENCE - 19-20 May in Bradford

                *NUS MATURE & PART-TIME STUIDENTS CONFERENCE - 12 May in London

* What's in it for me?

                * An opportunity to shape the National student movement and its campaigns.

                * Develop a range of transferable skills from organisation to public speaking

                * Develop new networks and meet new people.
