Community Organiser: Anti-Apartheid Week
We (Queen Mary Students' Union) are a democratic, membership-led charity that exists to improve students' lives. We're looking for a Queen Mary student to join our team as a Community Organiser. This role will support the Students' Union’s Anti-Apartheid Week campaign. The Community Organiser will work closely with student representatives, student groups, and staff members from different teams to ensure that the campaign delivers a diverse and engaging programme of events and activities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to coordinate events, create awareness-raising content for social media, and contribute to the Students' Union website.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about social justice, equality, and human rights. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build strong working relationships with different student groups and liberation movements, helping to foster an inclusive and impactful campaign.
