This year’s campaign celebrates the cultures, stories, and contributions of Asian communities across campus, while creating spaces centred on welfare, liberation, and inclusion. As Asian Heritage Month coincides with Ramadan this year, we’re celebrating South Asian culture with an evening Iftar featuring biryani, samosas, and drinks. A moment to come together and embrace the significance of sharing food during Ramadan.

While we would like to believe that racism is a relic of the past, the reality is starkly different.
It’s impossible to talk about Asian pop culture without mentioning K-Pop.
Disability within BAME communities exists at a complex intersection of cultural norms, systemic barriers, and shifting societal expectations.
Asian communities in the West trace their roots back centuries.
As a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Linguistics at the School of Languages, Linguistics, and Film, I have a diverse background in academia and industry.
