Climate Action Week written in colourful text over a green background

Climate Action Week

Climate Action Week is taking place from 23 - 27 February 2026. Get ready for a week of action, impact, and all things sustainability – brought to you by QMSU and Queen Mary University. This isn’t just another awareness campaign; it’s about exploring climate action through creativity, collaboration and justice to understand why now more than ever, taking care of our environment is so important.

We’ve got a jam-packed schedule of events where you can learn, connect and take action – whether you’re into understanding the net zero gap between science and politics, hands-on creative workshops, broadening your knowledge on the social, scientific, emotional and political dimensions of the climate crisis or just vibing with other like-minded changemakers.

The purpose of Climate Action Week is to inspire confidence, deepen understanding, and strengthen collective action across Queen Mary. By connecting making with knowledge, and individual insight with community practice, the week encourages us to imagine new possibilities for a fairer, more sustainable future — together.

Plus, we’ll be running an exclusive range of special offers across our QMSU outlets on sustainable food, drink and merch!
