ABOUT ME

I am a first year Electrical and Electronic Engineering student. 
I have loved my start to university life so far and want to be able to make sure I can make this year a memorable and special one for every first year undergraduate student starting their university story!

WELFARE

I want to work alongside the VP Welfare to tackle welfare issues facing many first year students, especially with the transition to university life.

EDUCATION

With the help of the VP Education and the course reps, I want to work on tackle any issues facing first year students that prevent them from getting the most out of the their degrees academically, and to work on improving the student environment to give every person an easier chance of excelling in their studies.

COMMUNICATION

To work with the student council to ensure strong communication between students on campus and any decision makers to ensure all student voices are heard, and to open up channels with first year students to make sure I represent them to the best of my ability.

SKILLS I CAN BRING

  • Public speaking and leadership skills - Having held 2 leadership positions previously, I have developed the skills required for me to able to fulfil my role responsibilities to a high standard, and I am able to represent first year students in any events I may need to attend and talk at.
  • Teamwork skills - Due to past experiences and roles I have learnt how to work in a well functioning team, which will allow me to work effectively within the student council to get my work done and aid the rest of the council in whichever way I can.
