Hi guys, my name is Faiza, and I am standing up for this position as I would like to ensure that there is a strong link between students and staff, to increase student learning support. Representing the voice of myself and others has always been a passion of mine. In my undergraduate studies, I was a student representative which has provided me with invaluable skills to deal with challenging situations. For example, I addressed issues regarding the course set up and aided the university to be more mindful of the students’ perspective. Making positive changes is meaningful to me and I go above and beyond to ensure effective change is implemented.
Currently, I am in the process of setting up a Physician Associate Society, so we as a cohort can be actively involved in providing a support network for our course and help promote PA at Bart’s.
As a representative for this course, my priority is to ensure that our voices are heard and that we as students are able to raise our concerns in a safe and positive environment. I aim to highlight and improve the positive aspects of our course, which will not only help us but also the next cohort.
