Manifesto
Hey everyone ! I'm Gargi and I am running to be the EECS represesntative. I am a very approachable and friendly person and I will always listen to any doubts anyone has. I belive all of our voices should be heard and I would like to make a profound impact on how the EECS department engange with all of us. By choosing me I will make big changes to how we are all treated. I will ensure there is effective communication of our thoughts and concerns between the department and students. I will bring new ideas and practises the EECS team could potentially opt to improve our educational experience. In meetings I will always ensure we find solutions to all the queries brought up and I will deliver new ways on how we can improve our course based on the feedback I receieve. I will guarantee that the EECS department will be prepared for any unexpected situations e.g. another lockdown, and that they provide us with a convenient yet effective environment for all of us to work in. I also plan to send review forms to the students in EECS every 4 weeks to hear their thoughts and feedback on their experience with their respective courses so far. In order to maximise my peers responses but also to minimise the time they spend answering the questions as I understand how busy all of us are, I will ask a series of close-ended questions followed by a few open-ended questions. I appreciate anyone who took their time to read my manifesto and I hope that my dedication to become course rep will convince you to vote for me.
