Manifesto

MY EXPERIENCES 

• 1st year Medical Student and recent QMUL graduate 

• I have taken part in the organisation of various events for emabassies and the Silk Road Assocaition 

• My goal is to create events that will make students feel welcomed and part of our Barts family, as our time at university although limited should be a very happy time 

NEW EVENTS  

• Events regarding internships and research opportunities for studens 

• More social and diverse events that are not solely focused on drinking 

• Wellbeing focused events to help students destress  

• Weekly online social events where studentes from different years can interact  

BRIDGING GAPS  

• Events that bring together postgrads and undergrads 

• Joint events with allied courses and QMUL  

• Advertise via social media and email to ensure all stduents are aware of all BLSA events 

• Give students a chance to talk about what events they would like take part in  

FRESHERS FORTNIGHT 

• Real freshers experience for all students affcted by the pandemic and future 1st years 

• In person and online events so any student is able to enjoy the experience of being a fresher
