BATLAA
· Work with BATLAA to represent all students and alumni, including those from Allied Courses and those in Gozo
· Work with BATLAA and the Dental President to support the Dental Alumni Mentoring Scheme
· Help to organise the BATLAA-BLSA dinner at The Great Hall
· Ensure BATLAA presence at BLSA flagship events
· Encourage alumni donations to enable continued funding for important projects which benefit the student body
BLSA
· Encourage all student groups to have alumni officers who can communicate with alumni through social media and newsletters
· Help facilitate student groups to work with the Archives Department to learn about their history
· Encourage student groups to put on events celebrating and engaging with alumni, e.g. Boat Club’s highly successful 175th Anniversary dinner
· Work with the Sports Officer and Club Sport Committee to introduce an Alumni Cup
· Work with Liberation Officers and the Archives Department to celebrate alumni who were part of liberation groups/events and contributed to our rich community
Events
· Run networking events throughout the year for current students to interact with alumni
· Barts and The London Week – continue the excellent work by previous alumni officers to run events celebrating the history and community of BL, inviting alumni to speak and encouraging current students and alumni to attend
