Hello, my name's Dlveen and I'm a second year dental student. I would like to run for social secretary because I've really enjoyed the events we have had previously. Particularly in first year, they really helped me meet new people in my own year and also from other years and I would like to give this experience I had back to many other students. I also liked how in second year despite being in a pandemic, the events were tailored to this and we were able to have online events, but I’m mindful that many of the current first years haven’t experienced in person events with dentsoc. Consequently, I would like to organise events to make up for this and also events liaising with King’s. As a PASS and BDS1 mentor, I know many of the first years and have the skills necessary to work as a team to organise these events.
