Hi everyone!!:)
My name is Kalli and i am running for President for the Salsa Society!
For those of you who do not know me, i am already in the committee so in a few words i will try to show you how much i LOVE this society and why you should let me stay in it!
I absolutely LOVE dancing (especially bachata)! this society not only let me do what i love, but it also became a family to me and provided me with many many friends.
Most of the current committee members are leaving (as they are third years) so it would be a dream to be able to continue what they have started!
This whole year i have been introduced to tons of dancing events: from parties for our members to competitions and performances for our Performance Teams (which i am in!!!)
I would love to share that knowledge with members in the next academic year and organise many socials and parties as well as give access to members to massive fun events such as Pasion, ABCD, El Grande, Rueda Libre and many many more!:)
Of course, apart from parties theres also classes which i will make sure are consistent and filled with fun, music, learning new steps and meeting friends.
I would also love to include other types of latin dances in the programme!
Being part of the performance team is the best thing i have ever done! Not only have i made amazing friends but i also get to learn an amazing choreo and perform it at festivals and events! I will make sure our performance teams next year also get to perform at the best of places!
I am a very bubbly and smiley person with a very positive mindset who would love to take over and ensure everyone has a great time in this society!!
All in all, i love this community that has been created within this society and i would love to keep being part of it! ?
