Dear AJQS members,
We (Christelle and Farida) are presenting ourselves for the following positions of President (Christelle) and Secretery-Genaral (Farida) of the AJQS Board for 2022-2023.
We have gotten to know each other throughout the year, and we believe that we can form a great team to represent you next year.
Both being very dedicated and responsible students we assure you that you can count on us and here’s why: throughout this academic year we have both taken up positions and extra curricular activities while balancing our legal studies which has helped us acquire organisational and interpersonal skills. For instance, our positions as Legal Events Officer in the AJQS and Director for Moot court Comptetions at ELSA, have allowed us to acquire many skills that together will enable us to successfully fulfill our positions.
If chosen, we will do our best to create a stronger bond between us as future second years but also, make the next first years feel welcomed in order to have a cohesive atmosphere in the double degree!
To achieve this, we are planning to create not only legal but also social activities. To ensure that they are to your liking, we will create a google form which will allow you to choose an event that you would be interested in. In addition, one of the ideas we have is to collaborate with other societies. Moreover, we aim to build a transparent communication between the members of the board and the society as a whole.
These reasons show that we would make an amazing team and you can rely on us to have an unforgettable year!
