Hey guys!
My name is Sajeena and I am hoping to be one of your secretaries for the next academic year!
Having joined Teddy Bear Hospital earlier this year, I have enjoyed regularly volunteering at the clinics and getting to meet so many of you guys over the year!
I can honestly say that I am committed to TBH and am incredibly organised, hopefully making me a good fit as one of your next secretaries. Having joined the BL Endocrinology Society as a Pre-Clinical Representative over the past year, I have honed the necessary skills to take on the role of secretary for such an active society. I hope to work collaboratively with the other secretary and the rest of the committee to grow the TBH community even further over the next year!
I have grown to love volunteering with young people at TBH clinics (Safety Day was definitely one of my highlights of the year!) and I hope to make every effort to offer these volunteering opportunities as often as possible to our amazing TBH community!
Most importantly, I would like to run more recruitment days in the first term of the academic year, which should hopefully mean that anyone that is unable to make it to the first recruitment day does not need to miss out on 3 months of volunteering opportunities before they can attend the next recruitment day.
As your secretary, I will also be constantly keeping you in the loop on volunteering opportunities and recruitment days. I also guarantee that I will be responsive to your queries and suggestions!
