Hi, I'm Jaycee! I am a third-year Computer Science with Management student. My Hobbies/Likes: Table Tennis, Piano, Anime, Learning Japanese, and Music Production.

I would like to be the Language Coordinator because of the experiences I had within this society. I have taken part in several social events and really did enjoy them, although my main experience so far with this society is my regular attendance for the language lessons they provide. I remember my first JSOC language lesson and I had zero knowledge of Japanese. In that lesson, we'd probably learnt the alphabet and the basics of Japanese phrases. After that lesson, I was so curious to learn more about this language, and as a result, learning Japanese had been added to my list of hobbies! Now I still continue to learn Japanese in my free time. Honestly, learning Japanese was an eye-opener as it gives the opportunity to learn the different aspects of Japanese Culture. Because of this, I hope future members would get introduced to learning the Japanese Language.

Moreover, I believe the skills that I gained as a former Vice President of the Table Tennis society, would help me with the management side of this role.

In short, my main aim is to provide opportunities for members to improve their existing Japanese knowledge, while also encouraging other members to start learning Japanese. I believe my enthusiasm for the Japanese Language and my current experiences, would help bring about another set of well-managed Japanese Lessons and well-allocated pen-pal partners for the years 2023-2024 :)

Thanks for your time reading and I hope you can consider me for this position!
