My name is Steven, a 2nd-year Medical Geneticist and I will be running for the position of Treasurer for QM Marrow. Having taken the previous role of Donor Recruitment Coordinator and Co-President (current) of QM Marrow, and volunteering posts with other societies and organisations, I believe I have the necessary experience to take part in the committee. I also have had experience with bookkeeping, basic accounting, and a recent position as an administrative assistant with another company overseas, which will prove useful in the role I am running for.
If elected, I will make it my priority to(generalised but not limited to):
- Organise and coordinate funding for the volunteering group
- Work closely with Anthony Nolan and other sponsors to acquire the necessary funding for future activities
- Assist the Donor Recruitment and Fundraising Coordinators in organising events
