As a first-year Computer science student, I aim to contribute positively to students' experiences, turning feedback into action. I support solutions that improve experience and encourage open dialogues. I possess the reliability and relevant knowledge needed to make our faculty more connected, supportive and student-focused.
Hi everyone,
My name is Munavvarai Jaborzoda, and I am a first-year Computer Science student running to be your Faculty Student Representative.
I am standing to be elected as a student representative of the Science and Engineering Faculty because I would like to ensure all feedback from all students and all years are heard and represented.
As your representative I would aim to ensure that everyone in the faculty can:
-
Openly express their opinion and feel heard
-
Students are aware of the decisions made by the council
-
Decisions made by the faculty staff are to benefit all of the students.
I possess strong communication skills, I gained from my experience as a Student Ambassador during my foundation year. I was helping college staff with organizing massive events such as Welcome days for winter student intakes, Intercultural events and initiated celebration of Navruz, bringing students together across cultures and supporting diverse student groups. Through these events, I was gathering feedback in multiple languages from students from different countries, and this experience strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
I would be honored to represent you and help build a more connected, supportive, and student-focused faculty.
