I am applying for the position of Experience Representative at Queen Mary University because I believe student life should be inclusive and empowering. Moving between cities, schools, and sports clubs taught me adaptability and strong communication skills, enabling me to connect confidently with diverse communities and support meaningful student engagement.
I am running to be your Activities and Experience Representative because I want every student at Queen Mary to feel involved, connected, and proud to be part of our community.
Throughout my life, I have adapted to constant change — moving between cities, schools, and sports clubs. Each new environment required me to build connections from scratch, strengthening my communication skills and confidence in diverse social settings. I understand how important it is for students to feel welcomed and included, especially in a university as international as ours.
Sport has shaped my leadership and discipline. I trained in judo for 10 years, basketball for one year, boxing for two years, and swimming for eight years. These experiences taught me resilience, teamwork, and responsibility. Leadership, to me, means creating opportunities where others can grow and feel part of something bigger.
As someone who speaks four languages fluently, I can connect with students from different backgrounds and ensure that activities reflect the diversity of Queen Mary. Representation should be inclusive — and I am ready to make that happen.
If elected, I will:
