As an international student, I understand both the opportunities and challenges of studying abroad. I will work to ensure international students voices are heard, strengthen support for newcomers, and promote initiatives that celebrate our diverse community. Committed to representing your concerns and improving the international student experience at Queen Mary.

Hello fellow students,

I hope all, reading this manifesto, are well.

I'm Hiba, a second-year International Relations with business management student and proud international student at Queen Mary.

Having lived in international enviroments throughout my life and now navigating university life in the UK, I understand firsthand both the opportunities and challenges international students face. From adjusting to a new academic system to dealing with visas, housing, career uncertainty, and building community far from home.

Why Am I Your Best Choice?

I bring experience in representation, leadership, and advocacy.

Through my participation in Model United Nations, including conferences at Georgetown University, I have developed the skills to represent diverse perspectives, negotiate effectively, and advocate for meaningful solutions.

I am multilingual, which allows me to connect with students across cultures and ensure more voices are included in discussions.

Most importantly, I am committed to turning feedback into action.

What Have I Done So Far?

• Participated in student leadership and international academic forums

We deserve representation that is proactive, organised, and action-driven.

I am committed to ensuring international voices are not just heard but acted upon.
