Debate Society - Female Co-President
One male and one female, the presidents’ role is to lead the society. They will take turns to chair committee meetings each week, and will have the deciding votes on any major, controversial issues. They will have a large supporting role in the Queen Mary IV organisation (see below). They will represent the society to the Student Union (for example in asking for promotion on the SU social media pages). They will have a role in signing finance forms. They represent the society to external entitie

Debate Society - Internal Administration Officer
An admin-based role, the Internal Administration Officer will be responsible for booking training, debating, and speaking rooms/arranging tech for virtual events. (S)he will be responsible for gauging the interest of other societies to take part in inter-societal events, booking the rooms and bringing the societies together (e.g. bringing members of the other society to training before an inter-societal event). This will require collaboration with the Social Secretary.

(S)he is responsible for the finances of the society. (S)he should keep a record of the society’s finances – both in our grants and our subs account. (S)he should accept invoices from other organisations and be responsible for paying for services such as weekly training and IV expenses. (S)he should track our finances.
