About this event

Welcome to our first FREE talk of the year! To start the year with a bang we have a fantastic talk by Dr Josh Case live from Australia who will giving a talk about coding and programming in medicine and how to get involved in it even if you are a complete beginner. Whether it’s coding web/mobile apps, websites, AI systems or any other projects this will be a great insight into how to get started. Everyone, no matter what level, is welcome to attend!

Dr Case is a junior doctor and software developer currently working in Queensland, Australia. He has become very popular over Twitter through his passion of getting medical students and doctors involved in coding and programming, offering fantastic project ideas and expert advice to everyone in the community. Coding is a fantastic skill to learn and it has so many applications but it’s tough to know how and where to get started i.e. which language to learn. It can also be difficult to understand its potential role in healthcare, but Dr Case will be explaining it all through this talk on the 28th October between 6-7pm UK time. You will not want to miss it so mark your calendars.
