BL ACS are holding a raffle to raise money for two amazing charities: Sickle Cell Society and AMECA.

- The Sickle Cell Society works alongside health care professionals, parents, and people living with sickle cell to raise awareness of the disorder. The Society’s aim is to support those living with sickle cell, empowering them to achieve their full potential. They believe that individuals with sickle cell have the right to quality care and this can only be achieved if funding is made available to educate health carers and other professionals about the condition. The Society aims to provide this.

- AMECA was founded in December 2006 by Ruth Markus, in memory of her only child Alex.  AMECA is committed to healthcare delivery, training healthcare professionals and to healthcare education in sub-Saharan African countries, through sustainable initiatives.

There are two prizes up for grabs and the raffle is open to everyone! Winners will be announced on zoom on the 28th May @6pm.
