LGBTQ+ History Month Research Showcase

Thursday 27 February 2025, 2:30pm - 4pm

Blomeley Room 1, QMSU Building, Mile End
About this event
Are you a Postgraduate Taught or Postgraduate Research student at Queen Mary University of London working on research related to LGBTQ+ issues, identities, rights, or histories? As part of LGBTQ+ History Month (LHM), Queen Mary Students’ Union (QMSU) is hosting a ‘Research Showcase’, providing an opportunity for PGR students to share their work in an informal and supportive environment.

This is a great opportunity to showcase your research, receive feedback, and engage with fellow students and staff. We welcome projects from any discipline as long as they connect with themes relevant to LGBTQ+ experiences, activism, or scholarship.

To express your interest, please fill out this form by Wednesday 26th February 2025. Selected presenters will be shortlisted by the LGBTQ+ History Month organising team, including liberation reps and support staff.

The showcase will be held at 14:30 on Thursday 27 February 2025. Location TBC (Mile End Campus).

If you have any questions, please contact r.shahid@qmul.ac.uk
