About this event

Join us for Anti-Apartheid Week where we'll be discussing Mahmoud Darwish's poetry 'A River Dies of Thirst'.

We will be exploring the collection on Thursday 17th April from 12-3pm at the Yurt at St Benet's Chaplaincy. No prior reading is required to join and free copies will be available for the first attendees!

Spaces are limited so please reserve your free ticket in advance :)

'Darwish is the premier poetic voice of the Palestinian people . . . lyrical, imagistic, plaintive, haunting, always passionate, and elegant—and never anything less than free—what he would dream for all his people.'
