Black History Month Research Showcase

Monday 27 October 2025, 2pm - 3pm

About this event
Are you a Postgraduate Taught or Postgraduate Research student at Queen Mary University of London working on research related to Black experiences, identities, or histories? As part of Black History Month (BHM), Queen Mary Students’ Union (QMSU) is hosting a ‘Research Showcase’, providing an opportunity for students to share their work in an informal and supportive environment.

This is a great opportunity to showcase your research, receive feedback, and engage with fellow students and staff. We welcome projects from any discipline as long as they connect with themes relevant to Black experiences, activism, or scholarship.

To express your interest, please fill out the form by Wednesday 22nd October 2025. Please note that we have limited slots for presenters, but we will try our best to accommodate as many research projects as we can.

The showcase will be held at 14:00 on Monday 27 October 2025, in Blomeley Room 1 on Mile End Campus.
