Dear Delegates,
It is our pleasure to invite you to the Queen Mary Model United Nations Conference 2026, to be held on the 24th-25th of January 2026 at Queen Mary University of London.
This year’s theme, “Diplomacy Done Differently,” embodies our vision of a conference where diplomacy is inclusive, forward-thinking, and rooted in action. At QMUN 2026, we aim to expand the boundaries of traditional diplomacy by fostering spaces that are accessible, sustainable, and supportive of mental well-being.
We believe that international dialogue should reflect the diversity of the global community. Our commitment this year is to ensure that diplomacy is practiced not only by those historically invited to the table, but also by those who have long been excluded from it. Through this, we hope to empower delegates to challenge norms, raise overlooked perspectives, and develop solutions grounded in empathy, innovation, and equity.
Our goal is to create a space where both seasoned delegates and first-time participants can engage meaningfully with international issues, contribute their perspectives, and sharpen their skills in a supportive and intellectually vibrant environment.
QMUN 2026 offers a diverse and innovative range of committees, carefully designed to engage delegates of all experience levels. This year, we are especially excited to introduce a Beginner Security Council, opening up one of MUN’s most prestigious forums to those new to the field. We will also be hosting a historic League of Nations Simulation and a dynamic international court, providing unique opportunities for historical insight, legal reasoning, and creative diplomacy.
Let this be the year where you step up - not despite the system, but to change it.
