About this event

The Carer’s Support Event is being organised in collaboration between the Advice and Counselling Service and VP Welfare, Eshwinder Singh, as part of Carers Rights Day. The event aims to create a supportive and inclusive environment for student carers — students who balance their studies with caring responsibilities at home.

Purpose: The event will provide attendees with an opportunity to: Learn about the support, advice, and financial or wellbeing resources available to student carers at the university. Connect with Advice and Counselling staff for tailored guidance and information. Engage in an open discussion with VP Welfare, Eshwinder Singh, about ongoing initiatives to strengthen wellbeing and inclusion for student carers. Build a sense of community and peer connection among students with caring responsibilities.
