BLAPRAS x UCLPRAS Congenital & Paediatric Plastic Surgery Teaching Series

COURSE AIMS:

  • Teach students about the role of plastic surgery in managing congenital abnormalities and how plastic surgeons treat paediatric patients
  • Build students’ knowledge concerning types of congenital abnormalities children may be born with and the complications these may represent
  • Develop participants’ surgical skills relevant for congenital plastic surgery through weekly wet lab workshops
  • Allow students to understand the procedures performed by plastic surgeons and surgical decision making
