Beyond the Blade: Form, Function, Future is a five-session collaborative teaching series held across all London medical schools, for medical students.
This series, a first of its kind, aims to bring together all PRAS society students, creating an opportunity to learn, grow, and network together over each session.
The series covers a range of topics, including:
- basic surgical skills
- plastic reconstruction techniques
- aesthetic
- congenital plastic surgery
- burns management
- hand surgery
- microsurgery
There will be lectures alongside hands-on workshops, giving students a nice overview into the specialty of plastic surgery and the skills required to suceed.
By participating in this series, you will also be supporting CLEFT UK, a charity advocating for increasing knowledge, awareness, and care given to children born with a cleft lip and palate.
