Come sit in and participate at one of the Model UN Society's weekly training sessions!

When we're not sending our delegates across Europe to scoop up awards at the world's most prestigious MUN conferences, or indeed hosting our own conference (the Best Rated Conference in the United Kingdom for 2025 and 2026, by the way), we're hosting our training sessions and building our strength in debate, conflict resolution, and lawmaking.

Our training sessions are for everybody, whether you're a total beginner or a Model UN veteran. You'll be put through your paces on a topic chosen at random by our Academics Team and tasked with representing a state selected for you. We'll go through all the processes of a usual MUN committee, starting with speeches from the General Speakers' List, then motions and caucuses, and then (should states be in agreement), end on a successfully passed resolution.

We'll be providing support every step of the way, covering what makes a good speech a great one, and how to work through typical situations you might find yourself in at conferences. We'll also be providing the latest information on the upcoming conferences on the United Kingdom circuit, and helping with travel and accommodation planning.
